NYX Part 2: Lip Showdown!

Hello lovely readers, and happy Monday! I apologize for posting this so late; my camera decided that yesterday would be the perfect time to not turn on. *sigh* But anyways! On with the review~
These three products are all from NYX; hopefully you've all seen my previous review on the Mega Shine Lip Glosses!
For the sake of reviewing, I picked up one NYX Butter Gloss (Apple Strudel), one Xtreme Lip Cream
(Candyland), and one of the wildly popular Soft Matte Lip Creams (Antwerp). Because they all came out at $6 each, (a dollar more than the Mega Shine Glosses,) I wanted to see whether they would be worth my (and your) extra dollar. So, here we go!

NYX Part 1: Mega Shine Lip Gloss *MLBB Alert!*

Good Afternoon, Friends! I am ridiculously excited to share this post with you today, so I'm just going to jump right into it...
While wandering through the makeup aisles at Target last week, I happened upon... a glorious NYX stand. After almost a full minute of silent screaming and jumping up and down, I went absolutely nutso and came home with lots of goodies. I plan on reviewing each bit once I've formed a decent opinion on them, but these pretty gems almost immediately found a home in my pencil case. (My pencil case is the equivalent of my favorite purse. Wherever I go, it goes.)

When I look for lip gloss, I want some that are wearable, unoffensive (scent and comfort-wise) and non-drying. NYX Mega Shine Lip Glosses definitely fit that bill AND they are affordable!!!!

Across the Pond: Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Polishes

Good Evening, lovely people! I'm sorry that this post is going up relatively late; this past week has been one of the longest and most stressful weeks I've had my entire life. *SIGH* BUT, it's a new week, Monday is over, and I'm going out to kick some ass.
A couple weeks ago, one of Rachel's friends came home from the UK with some goodies for us. When I learned that she was going to pick up things for us, I specifically asked for these nail polishes, especially because I've seen so many European bloggers/ Youtubers rave about them.

Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints.... I think I hear angels singing. I have three shades in this line: Grapefruit, Pomegranate, and Blue Grape. Though each bottle varies slightly in wear and application, all three of them, once dry, has an incredible shine that looks deceptively like a top coat.

This or That: Benefit Highlighters

Hello my dears!
Not gonna lie, this week has been... insane. Long hours at school, long hours at work. On top of that, I came down with something and have been just disgusting. So of course, my makeup routine has either been extremely minimal, or just ~au natural~ With that being said, I have found that there is one product that I always reach for to make my skin look a little more alive: highlighter. Today, I will do a breakdown of three highlighters from a brand that I feel really markets that "natural, glowy look" well: Benefit!
I currently have three Benefit highlighters in my makeup stash: High Beam, Sun Beam, and Watt's Up!
Because I am a poor college student, I, as well as Rachel, are always on the lookout for samples and deals. All of these highlighters are in the little sample/travel sizes because we got them in varying deals and whatnot at Sephora.

Becks' Holy Grail: Drugstore Eyeliners!

Hello Everyone, Happy (early) Labor Day!
I am back again with some more reviews for you. This time, with one of my favorite makeup essentials: eyeliner.
After a couple years of searching, I have narrowed down my favorite eyeliners to just three: pencil, gel/cream, and liquid. The Golden-Holy Grail-Trio. The best part? THEY'RE FROM THE DRUGSTORE HOORAY!
